In thise classroom, we continue to teach numbers, colors & shapes along with our Christian learning through Bible stories, scriptures, music and prayer. While staff helps your child learn through play, they will be asking your child to do things such as find two red blocks or a square block so that they will begin correlating the concept of colors, shapes and numbers. They will also learn language, music, science and art, character traits and moral values. This class will tie in the bible lesson learned during chapel into arts and sciences. The A Beka curriculum and our teachers combined do an excellent job at making sure that your child is learning the material specific for their age as well as making sure that the children enjoy their class time. They will also continue on with the social-emotional and self help skills mentioned in the Young Toddler class.
